Simplified Flex Action
In the Simplified Flex Action post, we are going to at the Traditional and Open Flex actions, three different entries you can use to get into it, and also how you can flow into Flex Action right out of transition.
The Flex Offense is arguably the most popular basketball offense of all time. To me, the appeal has always been that it is a simple concept, easy to teach, and does not rely on post play. In the world of high school basketball where rosters may look very different from year to year, it is easy to see why it would become popular. Personally, I have always found that a team that ran the flex with a high level of precision was extremely difficult to guard. Finding an effective way to defend the screen-the-screener action has always been a challenge.
